1. Using Universal Search, navigate to the Product Search dashboard.
2. Search for the intended product using the filters, and Click Search.
3. Click the pencil icon to edit a field or add a value to Seasonal Start/End Month Day fields and save when complete.
4. The In-Season field automatically updates to True during the time window created by dates set by Seasonal Start Month Day and Seasonal End Month Day.
Fields And Definitions
Seasonal Start Month Day - The day of that month when the product becomes sellable.
Seasonal End Month Day - The last day the product can be sold.
In Season - True or False, this shows whether the product is sellable today.
NOTE: The Start Date does not have to be before the End Date in the Calendar year, for example, 9/15 as the Start Date and 11/15 as the End Date would ensure a product would only be sold in the Fall Months.
Even if a product is In Season: False, it can still be picked up from customers, if that product is active in the Customer's Location and the product is still in that Customer's Customer History.
Best Practices
Apply a NOT IS NULL filter on Seasonal Start Month Day to display Products that have a Seasonal window set and are not currently in Season.
Month and Day are all required in the Seasonal Start/End Month Day fields. For example: to set a Summer product to be available in June, July, and August of every year set the Seasonal Start Month Day to 6/1 and the Seasonal End Month Day to 8/31. This ensures that the In-Season field is updated to True, every year and not just this year.
When no date values are set for Seasonal Start/End Month Day fields, the In-Season field is set to True.
