Explains how Encompass API usage is priced and billed: $0.01 per compute second with a $200 monthly minimum, billed to the API token owner, plus tips to cut costs. Requires v22.07+.

Steps

Overview:

​1. Encompass API pricing is simple and easy to track.
​
2. All costs are based on the infrastructure load on the Encompass system.
​
3. Costs are billed directly to the 3rd party software company or 'owner' of the API Token and account.
​
4. If the Cost per compute second is not greater than $200.00 in a month, then the cost is $200.00 for that month.

  • API - Application Programming Interface.

  • API Token - Assigned to an API Command. It is used to give permissions to the application and to authenticate the API command when there is no user logged in with an active session.
