Steps
NOTE: Quality Control metrics can be added to the Recipe Version in general, as well as to the individual Stages of a Recipe Version.
Navigate to the Recipe Management dashboard.
Use the Brand, Products or Recipe Version filter to narrow your search results (at least one filter is required to search).
Click the Search button.
Recipe Versions that match the filter selection will appear under the search filters. To edit a Recipe Version, click on the Recipe Version you’d like to add QC metrics to.
Click the + QC button at the top of the page.
General metrics will be available to take any time during the production process, whereas the metrics added at the Stage level, will only be available to take during the stage in which they belong.
Click the Add Metric or Add Sample button.
Use the checkboxes to multi-select Measurements.
Toggle on Is Series if the Measurement will have multiple measurements of that QC metric recorded during the production process.
Click Save Changes when finished.
Fields And Definitions
If "Is Series" is set to true (toggled on), it means that multiple measurements of that QC metric will be recorded. For example, if you have a "Gravity" QC metric with "Is Series" set to true, you would be able to record multiple gravity readings during the production process.
If "Is Series" is set to false, it means that only a single measurement of that QC metric will be recorded. For example, if you have an "Alcohol Content" QC metric with "Is Series" set to false, you would only be able to record one alcohol content reading during the production process.
Setting the "Is Series" field appropriately allows you to capture the necessary QC data for your production processes in Encompass.
