Pre-Conditions
The Recipe Version for the Batch will need to be setup before starting a new Batch.
Steps
Starting a New Batch on the Batch Management Dashboard
1. Navigate to the Batch Management dashboard
2. Click the Start New button
3. Search for and select the Recipe Version for the batch that you are starting. Use the Brand and/or Product filters to find the Recipe Version that you're looking for
4. Add the Production Order that will begin the process of creating the batch:
The Batch Number will be automatically populated, based on the settings of the Batch Number Template Designer
Select either the Start Time or End Time. If Start Time is input, End Time will be automatically populated based on the Recipe Version setup
If the Recipe Version has a stage that is Turnable = TRUE, review the Turns field and select how many Turns you’d like for this batch
Planned Units will update based on what is in the Turns field, but can also be manually adjusted for this batch
5. Click Save
