How to Add Suppliers Vendors Record
1. Navigate to the Suppliers Vendors table.
2. Click Add Suppliers Vendors.
3. Enter the required info. When complete, click Add Record.
Forecasting Information on Suppliers Vendors
A Forecast Group can be set on a Suppliers Vendors record. Once set any Products under the Supplier will inherit the Forecasting information set on this table. It can be overridden at the Inventory level as needed.
Lead Time Days: Number of days required for the Supplier to fulfill an order. This value will establish the Deadline in the Forecasting tool.
Target DOI (Days of Inventory): Desired minimum number of days of inventory left on the floor after a given week. Once inventory drops below this value, an order will be triggered in the Forecasting tool. The amount ordered will equal the amount needed to reach this value.
Max DOI: Maximum allowable DOI for product. Estimated Order quantities will not exceed Max DOI in the Forecasting tool.
