Coding Chains to send to SRS

Distributor steps for coding chains with an SRS Chain Code in the Encompass Chains table so chain data reports correctly to VIP SRS. Requires v24.06+ and SRS reporting.

Pre-Conditions

  • Distributor must report to SRS.

Steps

  1. In the Universal Search, Navigate to the Chains table.
    ​

  2. Filter the Chains table to Independent = False.
    ​
    ​

  3. Click Columns ->SRS Chain Code to bring the field into view.
    ​
    ​

  4. Click to edit the SRS Chain Code, and select an appropriate, available option.

  • ROCHN - The Code Type that VIP SRS uses to describe SRS Chain Code.

Best Practices

  • Fill out this value each time a new chain is added to your Encompass site. Set it and forget it.
